I do hope you've been enjoying the holidays, and are ready to begin with a fresh start at a new year. In case you've noticed, our website is going through some changes and has been down a bit recently. I am so excited about the coming changes and the fresh direction our photography is taking. We are eagerly anticipating "go time" for the new website and will have more details to follow. Until then, Happy New Year!!!
xoxo

Blog Update!

Wow!
So who would have thought that to be a photographer you have to know web design??! Good thing I've got the design side of things covered! I hope you enjoy the new softer version of us in progress this week. It's time for us to have a more uniform look across the blog and website so you don't go between the two of them and think you got lost and landed on someone else's blog! :) Plus, you can't go wrong with a touch of brown to soften things up a bit!
Feel free to look around at the new pages on the blog, but please keep in mind that I'm still working on my web design skills! Ha!
I hope you're having a happy week! The newest wedding photos are coming soon! I promise!
Un-retouched Grandeur!
We're married!

So, while the homefront is quiet here on the blog, we are working furiously (behind the scenes) on the last two weddings of this month. They both went off without a hitch or a drop of rain. Nathan and I had an amazing time spending time with these special couples on their wedding day.
You know, the longer we are photographers, the more I believe that wedding photography is great for a marriage. It's sort of like we get to have all different sorts of weddings. I know the weddings are so so special for each couple and we work our booties off for each one we work with, but somehow...in the midst of all the hard work, sweat and dedication, I still get to walk up to Nathan after the ceremony with a big grin on my face, hold up my left hand, and say "We're married!"

This past weekend was an action-packed photography weekend. Not only did we get a chance to meet Mary Elizabeth and Eric, but we got to meet with Mary and Michael and even Jennifer and Joanna (sisters). Strangely enough, everyone had matching names, including myself (Natosha) and Nathan. :D
On top of meeting with 3 totally different but equally cool couples, we got to watch parts of a sweet HD Videography workshop with Vincent Laforet and Chase Jarvis at creativelive.com. It's one of my favorite resources for learning new things about the huge world of photography and media design.
It was a great time this weekend, and I can't wait to post the preview from our engagement session in downtown Buford.
And what is a post without a photo??

If you are wondering where we are, I think I'm at the "one exposure per motive" part of the chart. Nathan might still be lost in "the HDR hole" on our personal shoots, but when we are doing real shoots he is probably somewhere near the apex of the blue line. :) I'm really looking forward to leveling out that blue line!
