We had the honor and privilege to accompany some friends from church on their wedding day. Kym and David are awesome. I want to share more about them in their wedding post, but here's the story leading up to their wedding for now....
Without going into the whole long story, we had been attending the same church in Doulasville, Georgia. As with most churches at some point in time, there was a point of controversy and many members of the church left the congregation. (With that many people in one place, it's bound to happen at some point.) Kym & David and Nathan & I were a part of the crowd that decided to look for "greener pastures." (A thought I just had.....does that mean there's more poo if the pastures are greener??)
The point of telling you that was to tell you this. I got a frantic email from Kym about a month ago with an entire change in plans. She had planned to get married at the church we attended on a Saturday evening in September. Because of the change in church, she had a change in venue. And it even came with a free change in date, too. :) Changing venues that late in the game isn't easy when you're starting from scratch!!
But if anyone could do it, Kym could! And boy did she!! We went from a really really dark (relatively boring) basketball auditorium (aka: the church) to a sweet, historic house right off Marietta Square called the Marlow House. What an upgrade!!
Enjoy the preview while I finish her wedding photographs!
{Preview} Kym+David

I believe the boys were planning on playing the really hip looking cards while they waited for the girls to get ready. Not sure if they ever got a chance to play; from what I hear there were football games on in their suite. ;)
I love the timelessness of this photograph. The boys are forever waiting on the girls, and chatting about the important things in life.
Isn't she so sweet???
And he is just precious! I am so glad we caught this moment for them.
This is the pavilion they were married in. The Marlow House had an adorable chandelier that hung in the center.
I couldn't decide on which ring photo was my favorite. They both have their own distinct feel. Any votes for a favorite?
Hope you enjoyed the preview. I'll be back soon with an update on our mountain vacaction to Cades Cove and the rest of Kym and David's wedding!
