The Bride Guide from Athens Food Tours

So,

A little background.  I went to UGA's College of Environment and Design and got a degree in Landscape Architecture.  It was a great time.  We learned design and got to practice our design skills for 5 years before they let us loose out into the free world.  Many of us began our careers at huge corporate firms (like me) and others at more boutique design firms.  Within the past year or so many of us have found a passion beyond Landscape Architecture, but using many of the things we learned in school.  I embraced design and the fundamentals of design.  One of my friends, Mary Charles, has embraced the urbanist movement, specifically, locally grown foods.

She moved back to Athens and began her own company called Athens Food Tours.  If you head to Athens, you should look her up and take one of her walking food tours.  She is absolutely charming and captivating.  I haven't had a chance to go on one yet, but we are wanting to try it out and I am sure it is a deliciously good time!

She has a really neat service for brides called The Bride Guide.  She will take you and 3 or more of your favorite friends and family members for a tour of 5-6 of local Athens caterers.  It's a really cool service to save you time and help you make the dreaded wedding caterer decision.

And, if you're wanting to stay in a nice place while you're enjoying the lovely Athens, let her know before you make your hotel reservations.  She also works at the Hilton Garden Inn and might find a deal for you there, too!

p.s. Tell her I sent you!  ;)
